Prepare/review direct income tax compliance for corporations and partnership (T2s and T5013) Prepare/review monthly income tax provisions and manage tax accounting duties (includes cash tax and ETR forecasting) Maintain thin capitalization, EIFEL, ACB, and PUC calculations Review withholding tax (NR4s, T4A-NRs) and indirect tax (GST and PST) compliance Review contracts, master service agreements, and business cases Respond to CRA and other tax authorities on direct and indirect tax matters Provide due diligence feedback on acquisitions Provide support on tax planning and reorganization projects (windups, dissolutions, amalgamation, income tax rollovers, etc.) Work with external advisors to support the tax function Work with finance, accounting, HR, payroll, and operations to deal with various tax mattes and questions that may arise Research technical issues as needed for various corporate, personal, and indirect tax matters Maintain knowledge with technical tax issues and accounting standards through attending webinars, in person seminars, and reading technical information Identify opportunities to automate processes to help the tax function become more efficient through the use of technology and resources that have been made available CPA Canada designation Completion of CPA In-Depth Tax Course (All levels) Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting Experienced tax practitioner with 5+ years of tax experience in public practice and/or corporate tax environment

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
