Hours: Mon. – Thur. from 6a – 3:30p and Fri. 6a – 10a. Overtime as required.
Description
The Stager is responsible for accurately staging frames, legs, cushions, poly, and covers for upholstery according to ticket specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform staging of materials according to ticket specifications. Reading tickets to correctly determine the correct pieces to be built. Assist in unloading of trucks and organization of materials. Push or pull the staged frame to the correct upholstery line. Other duties as assigned.Education, Experience and Other Qualifications:
Must be able to read/write English. Must be able to consistently push/pull and lift up to 75 lbs. Strong communication skills is a must to convey information in both written and oral form. Strict attention to detail. Must be a team player with a positive attitude. Must be able to work with minimum supervision. Must have your own reliable transportation. Must be able to walk, and stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day. Must be able to work Weekends and Overtime.· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
· Must be able to wear required PPE such as Safety Glasses and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes.
Must be able to adhere to all Safety Policies and Procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.Environment:
· Climate-controlled furniture manufacturing plant. Concrete floors.
