Your role and responsibilitiesProviding input and recommending changes to new and existing product designsContinually recommending improvements in all areas related to standards and productsExecuting engineering activities of one of the Train Control and Information Solutions (TC&IS) Domain: Proto Validation & testDoing technical support for TCMS, assume traveling of approximately 20–30% depending on the project requirementDeveloping competencies required for this domain, following the right methodologies and tools. Ensuring the application of the standard processes in his/her domainRealizing Bill of Material. Designing products taking into account project requirements (performances, manufacturability, serviceability, testability)Analyzing change request impacts on assigned zone and applying change if request acceptedThis role is graded at GGS-12
Qualifications for the roleBachelor's or master’s degree in electrical /electronic engineering Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in TCMS – Train control and Management System Good knowledge of functional safety requirements applied in rail transportation (EN50126, EN50657)Expertise in using a requirements management tool and version control system are preferredProgramming experiences preferably in C, C++, C#, Java, python etc and experiences in IEC 61131-3 (PLC, SCADA and industrial automation knowledge) would be an advantageGood application knowledge of three phase electric locomotives, propulsion converter, Auxiliary converters, Communication Protocols such as CAN (Control Area Network), MVB (Multifunction Vehicle Bus), WTB (Wire Train Bus) and HMI (Human Machine Interface)Ability to convert the function description to mathematical/logic solution
