Job Description:

Internship Program

This is an internship with Global Markets Credit ('GMC') team which is part of wholesale banking business of TD Securities. The GMC team mainly works together with sales and trading teams and Corporate Investment Banking teams and is responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with credit policies established by the Bank for management of credit exposures especially the exposures from trading products.

Through strategic, tactical and risk-oriented teams of professionals. The Intern will aim to gain a strong understanding of the following:

Derivative and other trading products for wholesale banking

Credit fundamentals (qualitative and quantitative) for counterparty credit analysis

Basic exposure to legal trading documentation supporting various products

Regulatory requirements in key Asia Pacific markets for credit exposures

Credit risk reporting

Investment portfolio credit management

Attributes:

The intern should possess the following attributes:

Team-oriented attitude

Strong communication skills (written and oral)

Strong interest in global financial market and fast self-learning capability

Attention to details, able to manage multi-tasks with an organized manner

Positive learning attitude and acute business acumen.

Proficient in Microsoft office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Able to handle pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.

Have basic understanding of accounting principles and is comfortable with reading / analyzing financial statements

Requirements:

Year 2 to penultimate year undergraduate

Ability to commit to a full time internship from May to December 2025
