Teacher Aide Floater

PT  20 hrs per wk flex

New Hyde Park location

Qualifications:

New York State Teacher Assistant Certification within six months of hire date. High school diploma or G.E.D. required Fingerprint Clearance    State Central Registry Clearance

 EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to communicate effectively.  Ability to work effectively and cooperatively. 

Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

Assist the assigned teacher as requested in all areas of the daily classroom routine using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.  Assist the children as requested by the teacher; maintain health and safety of the classroom environment by performing assigned tasks.
