Position Summary/Responsibilities: Design and deliver engaging, student-centered instruction that adheres to GCSD arts curriculum and NYS standards using a variety of teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students. - Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment where all students feel supported and challenged. - Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and evidence based interventions as appropriate. - Communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, and colleagues regarding student progress and potential areas for improvement. - Stay current with best practices in visual arts education and professional development opportunities. - Teach a variety of visual arts mediums including digital media. - Participation in district and community art shows. All teachers who are new to Greece will be required to attend two teacher induction August 18th & 19th .
