Position Summary
The New Adventures Early Learning Teacher is responsible for planning and providing programs and activities which stimulate emotional, social, physical, and intellectual growth to children in a group setting. Teachers are responsible for all operations in the classroom and oversight of Teacher Assistant/Aide which includes continuous coaching. Teachers are responsible to research, plan, change room environment and implement weekly emergent curriculum based off children’s interest in each domain: Art, Reading, Writing, Cooking. Science, Math, Music/Movement. Teacher is responsible for maintaining all DCYF licensing and Early Achiever standards within the classroom. This is a professional level position operating independently with a minimum of supervision and requires independent decision making and the use of discretion and good judgement relating to a variety of routine and non-routine child care situations and circumstances. This position requires an in depth understanding of the growth, development, and needs of children. Major decisions are subject to review and approval of the Director.Requirements
Early Childhood Education State Certificate or equivalent Must have these certifications within 90-days of hire: First Aid, CPR, and Food Handling certification Direct experience working with or teaching children Direct experience in planning and implementing programs for a class of children Minimum of twenty-one years of age Meets WA State requirements to work in a licensed child care facility Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications Internal candidates not meeting minimum qualifications will have 2 year to meet standardWhy Mary Bridge Children's?

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $22.74 - $32.72 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
