Required proficiency in Sign Language. Candidates should possess a broad skill set of effective teaching and learning to engage learners of all levels including, but not limited to: • Knowledge of the NYS Learning Standards and Assessments • Knowledge of curriculum content and accepted methods of instruction. • Knowledge of up to date, available technology to use and teach students. • Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis, formulation of action plans • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Promoting equity and culturally responsive practices to create inclusive environments.
