Position Summary/Responsibilities: Design and deliver engaging, student-centered instruction that adheres to research-based literacy practices and standards using a variety of teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students. Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment where all students feel supported and challenged. Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and evidence based interventions. Communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, and colleagues regarding student progress and potential areas for improvement through various reports including RTIM Direct. Support staff in understanding Science of Reading research, Active View of Reading and lead professional development opportunities for building-level staff. Engage in department and PLC meetings, collaborate with colleagues, and fulfill assigned teaching duties. All teachers who are new to Greece will be required to attend two teacher induction days August 18th and 19th Additionally, all teachers will be required to to work 1 teacher day in the month of August (occurring between August 18th-29th).
