Teacher Rewards Administrator

 Mission:

The Teacher Rewards Administrator is responsible for supporting the Teacher Rewards Manager in overseeing IDEA Public Schools’ teacher recognition programs, including the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) and Teacher Career Pathway (TCP). This role focuses on resource development, data analysis, compliance with IDEA Public Schools and state policies, and collaboration with district stakeholders to promote professional growth and maintain high standards for program implementation. This role plays a critical part in cultivating a culture of recognition and excellence, advancing equitable opportunities for teacher development, growth, and retention.

Location:

This is a full-time remote position based in Texas with preference given to candidates who live in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Permian Basin (Midland/Odessa), Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Tarrant County (Fort Worth), or who are willing to relocate.

 

Travel Expectations:    

Travel to IDEA training events or stepbacks may be required. 

 

What You’ll Do – Accountabilities

 Essential Duties:

 

Program Management and Compliance: Assist in implementing teacher rewards programs to ensure alignment with federal, state, and district policies; Support the collection, review, and reporting of data to meet TIA and TCP requirements; Ensure the accuracy of teacher recognition payouts and reward distributions; Assist with the submission of updated TIA applications to expand program coverage to all on-model roles.
 Training and Technical Support: Help design and deliver training materials and provide technical assistance to teachers and leaders on TCP, TIA, and SLO processes; Support with updating, managing, and improving the TCP Dashboard and SLO management systems to enhance user experience.Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate on the development and ongoing updates of program policies, manuals, hub site content, and communication tools to enhance clarity and accessibility for stakeholders; Support clear communication regarding earning potential, including rewards beyond base pay and additional monetary incentives; Promote transparency in teacher recognition by explaining performance standards and the rationale behind designations, placements, or non-designations; Assist with developing and implementing comprehensive communication plans, revising annually to align with evolving goals and stakeholder needs.Stakeholder Customer Service: Serve as a customer service agent, providing support to resolve inquiries; Support with the facilitation of weekly office hours and focus groups to gather feedback, address concerns, and enhance stakeholder satisfaction.

Additional Skills:

Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including PowerPoint, and experience with Employee Information Systems.Strong Excel knowledge and skills.Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs.
 

Required experience:

Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree or relevant certification requiredExperience: 2+ years experience with recognition programs, human resources, or related field 

 

Preferred experience:

Education: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP professional designationsExperience: Texas Teacher Incentive Allotment 

 

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time without being able to leave the work area.Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 15 pounds (occasionally)

Compensation & Benefits:

Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $58,500 and $67,200, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity. This role is also eligible for performance pay based on organizational performance and goal attainment.
