Salary: $43,000 - $64,301 Bargaining Unit ( click here (https://www.greececsd.org/Page/531) for contracts): GTA Report Times: TBD Daily Hours: 7 Work Year: 2025-2026 Supervisor: School Principal Minimum Requirements: NYS Teaching Certification in American Sign Language Desired Qualifications: Alignment with District Core Values and ability to support our Mission: The Greece Central School District’s core purpose is to build a culture of high standards, engagement and supportive relationships through equitable access to resources, opportunities, and partnerships, so that students are able to achieve social, emotional, and academic excellence; Strong interpersonal and communication skills; A commitment to professional development and continuous learning; A passion for American sign language and for inspiring students to love learning; Position Summary/Responsibilities: Design and deliver engaging, student-centered instruction that adheres to state curriculum and standards using a variety of teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students; Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment where all students feel supported and challenged; Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and evidence based interventions as appropriate; Communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, and colleagues regarding student progress and potential areas for improvement; Stay current with best practices in American sign language and professional development opportunities; All other duties as assigned. All teachers who are new to Greece will be required to attend two teacher induction days August 18th and 19th. Additionally, all Teachers will be required to to work 1 Teacher day in the Month of August (occurring between August 18th-29th).
