The Teacher's assistant will assist in clinical courses helping students learn manual skills and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Assisting student with development of psychomotor skills.Preparing the laboratory environment with appropriate equipment and maintaining a safe environment.Student assessment/lab practical grading.Sharing clinical insights.Contextualizing didactic information for clinical application. Qualifications

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

Proven effective interpersonal and conflict-management skillsAbility to take initiative in tasks that occur regularly at certain times of the year (ex: in preparation for an upcoming semester)Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues in a team environmentExperience with clinical skills and procedures being taught
