Recruiting for a day-to-day building substitute to fill-in for teacher aides or teaching assistants while they are out of the classroom. In this job as a Paraprofessional, you may be required to complete the following tasks: + Lift, carry, pull up to 60 lbs. + Be outdoors for up to an hour year around in potentially inclement weather + Be on your feet and supervising consistently for up to an hour + Be able to run and keep up with a child + With training, operate a copier and complete classroom cutting and clerical tasks + Speak and communicate clearly with children + Be able to sit and get up from the floor or low seated position. + Be part of a P.E. class and be able to support sport activities Job Qualifications 1 year of experience working with school aged children or 1 year of clerical experience or 30 hours of successfully completed college credits Civil Service Title: Teacher Aide Job Number: FRSUB8-6-24
