Responsibilities

MJHS Home Care provides advanced clinical services and emotional support to patients recovering from illness, injury or surgery. With a comprehensive range of services supported by an integrated health system, patients can recover in the familiar surroundings of their home.

The Team Assistant is responsible for scheduling appointments for our nurses, managing and monitoring incoming referrals and ensuring that all new cases are scheduled as appropriateThis individual will coordinate with the Control Desk and maintain document controlThe responsibilities will also include, but will not be limited to, maintaining records, accurately entering data, and assisting the Business Support Supervisors and Patient Support Managers by working on reportsThe Team Assistant will be expected to cooperate with the entire team in order to be successful in processing work, ensuring that patients are seen, and creating satisfied customers. Qualifications High School Diploma.AA/BA degree highly desired.1-3 years of clerical/ office experience preferred.Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and general data entry.Strong telephone skills, excellent speaking/articulation (other languages a major plus).Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities.Ability to work well as part of a team, including supporting other team members.
