What You Will Do:
Responsible for overseeing the day to day clinical and administrative operations of an ACCS Integrated Community-Based Team. Oversees screening and assessments of persons referred for service. Trains and supervises team staff in developing Treatment Plans with Persons served and in documenting Person’s progress. Ensures that services are recovery-oriented and inclusive of families and significant others. Ensures adherence to Edinburg Center/ACCS policies and procedures, as well as compliance with all state and local licensing/certification requirements and regulations.
Who You Are:
Master’s degree in relevant clinical field plus Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC) strongly preferred, license eligible is required. Minimum of two years post-Master’s work experience in mental health required. Experience working with adults with major mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse disorders as part of a multidisciplinary team in the provision of clinical, rehabilitative, and recovery oriented services to Persons served with major mental illness required. Dialectical Behavior Therapy and/or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Illness Management and Recovery, Stages of Change, Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral, and Treatment (SBIRT), Substance Abuse Treatment, Housing First, Harm Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing strongly preferred. Supervisory experience required. Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required. Stages of Change, Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral, and Treatment (SBIRT), Substance Abuse Treatment, Housing First, Harm Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing, First Aid, CPR, and MAP certification within three months of hire required.
