This role works under the guidance of facilities leadership and contributes to the fostering of a collaborative and high-performing culture across the facilities team(s) within their remit. **What you'll be doing** **Key Responsibilities:** + Manages the coordination of maintenance and repairs requests and ensures that all service requests are responded to and dealt with in a timely manner. + Manages the completion of daily building inspections and reports any findings to the relevant risk management team. + Manages identified non-compliance to maintenance standards to ensures adherence to the required health and safety standards. + Ensures that buildings, offices, and equipment are maintained to the required standards and that service levels are met. + Contributes to the build of new business facilities, by ensuring the most appropriate selection of sites. + Oversees the replacement of broken and depreciated tools and equipment. + Ensures that office equipment operates effectively with minimal unplanned downtime and maintains accurate records of the condition of equipment. + Manages the ordering of office furniture and following up on orders, payments and deliveries and is accountable for the management of stock and furniture in storage. + Liaises with existing tenants to assist with the coordination of routine and scheduled maintenance, repairs and renovations. + Responsible for operational management of the facilities team to achieve operational excellence. + Ensures the maintenance of the asset registers, ensuring records are kept of all permits, leases, correspondence with vendors as well as reviewing all contractor documentation. + Performs any relevant duties as required by management. **Knowledge and Attributes:** + Displays excellent interpersonal skills used to deal effectively with internal and external stakeholders. + Excellent ability to exercise sound judgement and display the ability to deal effectively with conflict. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Excellent organizational skills. + Customer service attitude. + Excellent ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. + Excellent ability to make quick decisions. + Excellent project management skills. + Business and commercial acumen. + Excellent ability to balance delivery with agreed and contracted expectations. + Entry level people management skills. **Academic Qualifications and Certifications:** + Bachelor's degree or alternative qualification Facilities Management or a related field. **Required Experience:** + Seasoned experience gained in a similar role and preferably within a similar environment. + Entry level experience managing and leading facilities teams(s). **Workplace type** **:** On-site Working **About NTT DATA** NTT DATA is a $30+ billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
