+ Responsible for supporting business unit operations through inventory control, audits, and ad hoc project management as needed to support business unit goals
+ This role is a part of our Inflight Training team within our Inflight group.
**What you'll do**

+ Responsible for training device development while creating a long-term strategic plan to support American Airlines Inflight training growth
+ Oversees budget, ordering and tracking of equipment inventory and utilization of training devices to support departmental operation and decision making
+ Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Inflight training equipment manual
+ Partners with sim tech to trouble shoot device and training equipment issues
+ Leads the Inflight Production team within Inflight Training in support of internal training classes
+ Identifies business problems and opportunities, outlines strategic options, define success, and gain consensus among stakeholders and senior management
+ Assists with internal and external audit processes
+ Oversees the daily operation of the Inflight virtual reality training lab
+ Develops and delivers presentations and 5-point justifications for business cases and recommendations on key initiatives to Senior Management, as needed
+ Interfaces with a variety of functional areas including Inflight Policy and Procedures, Procurement, Finance, Tech Ops, CRE, Flight and the FAA for strategic and tactical decision-making
+ Flex to support additional tasks and responsibilities as directed
**All you'll need for success**
**Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience
+ 3+ years of relevant experience
**Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
+ 1 year experience with project management
+ 1 year experience with vendor management, finance, and accounts payable
+ Understanding of Flight Service Training Operations
+ Understanding of Comply365
+ Working knowledge of FAA regulations
**Skills, Licenses & Certifications**
+ Self-starter that can work independently to drive for results
+ Exceptional organization and planning skills, with attention to detail
+ Strategic thinker who considers the broader corporate implications of ideas
+ Ability to conduct analysis, problem solve, and effectively deal with ambiguity
+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
+ Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization
