We are committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodation to individuals with disabilities. **Brief Job Overview** The Team Lead, Research Operations is a supervisory position residing within the Legal, Strategy and People (LSP) in USP India, which specifically focuses on the Strategy part of the overall LSP function. This role is responsible for managing of resources aligned with Research Operations (ResOps), supporting all levels of the organization. ResOps is USP's in-house vendor for market research projects. Topic areas include but are not limited to new product/service development, product user behavior and attitudes, brand identity and tracking, market trends, and opportunities to increase understanding of our customers and business environment for the pharmaceutical, biologic, dietary supplement, and food ingredient industries. The work also extends to in-house stakeholder sample management and ad-hoc consulting projects. Lastly, measuring internal stakeholders through different employee surveys to measure the sentiment and culture within USP, will be an integral part of this role. **How will YOU create impact here at USP?** + Manages the Research Operations work and resources in India through cultural assimilation between India and Rockville colleagues, ensuring team has the tools and resources to succeed as a high performing organization within the Operations team in India. + The ResOps function serves to globally collaborate with GMI Managers & Director, Insights to execute research projects in a professional, timely, and high-quality manner that is (at minimum) comparable to that of an external vendor. + Stewards projects to meet business needs, consults with internal business partners, establishes and manages schedules for projects, monitors progress, to ensure results will provide meaningful and actionable insights. + Continuous improvement and maintenance of in-house sample of stakeholders. + Ad-hoc work on consulting projects emerging from teams outside of Strategy and Insights. + Provides support to all research that is related to internal stakeholders (Employee-related surveys). + Identifies, researches, profiles, and monitors USP's competitors and their product lines to provide context to decision making. + Ensures work products are done in a quality and timely manner, within the specified budget. + Models USP's core competencies (Initiative, Collaboration, Expertise and Growth) vital to the success of Strategy function within LSP, globally. + Performs other related duties as required. **Who USP is Looking For?** The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices, ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience: **Basic Qualifications** + MBA or other relevant master's degree preferred such as, Market Research, Information Systems, Computer or Health Science related fields. + 6 or more years of experience in applying Market Research to solve broad strategic business problems. + 1-2 years of experience managing a team / mentoring junior resources. + Advanced level of data interpretation and problem-solving skills required. + Proficient with MS Office Suite, Survey Programming techniques, Sample Management, Data Visualization and Project Reports. + Strong problem-solving techniques, ability to prioritize, and excellent communication skills. **Additional Desired Preferences** + Knowledge and experience working with large sets of data. + Excellent skills with all or the following tools: + Any survey programming tools, preferably Qualtrics + SPSS + Tableau + Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. + Knowledge of USP's role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries highly desired. + Strong communication skills required: Verbal, written, and interpersonal. + Ability to explain a market research problem or analysis to a non-technical audience. + Self-motivated and able to handle multiple concurrent projects and prioritize tasks independently. + Demonstrates thought leadership and consulting ability. + Excellent time and project management skills. + Has the ability to deal with ambiguity independently. + Has the ability to cross-collaborate and work across departments and levels. + Has the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. **Supervisory Responsibilities** 1 – Sr. Analyst, ResOps **Benefits** USP provides you with the benefits you need to protect yourself and your family today and tomorrow.
