Compensation Range Annual Salary: $131,500.00 - $157,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.) About This Job This role is the team leader for the treasury team and also serve as a Treasury Management Officer (TMO) for a portfolio of their own, including business development activity. Essential Functions + Responsible for new business development and oversees client management of an existing portfolio of Treasury clients + Works alongside a Treasury Account Manager to oversee a client portfolio, which include completion of annual relationship reviews for top customers + Develop new business within targeted industries and with targeted prospects + Manage goals by meeting revenue and profit budget + Maintain senior level contact with top and high priority customers + Develop territory plans, account strategies, and coordinate calling activity and call plans with assigned relationship managers + Oversee department workflow and effectively communicate decisions, priorities and relevant information to team members + Provide guidance to employees on departmental projects/issues, coach and develop training plans, lead development conversations and answer day-to-day questions for team members + Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required + Strong knowledge of the Treasury Management and cash management products field including knowledge of best practices + Strong knowledge of the sales and financial services field + Strong strategic selling and account management skills + Strong knowledge of value propositions related to treasury management applications within the corporate treasury function + Ability to develop and coach team members with proven ability to achieve results through collaboration and teamwork + Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and meet Commerce Bank’s driving record criteria; ongoing employment may be contingent upon meeting all driving requirements + Self-starter with strong decision-making skills and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of the company, clearly expressing ideas and concepts, both verbally and in writing + Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values + Advance level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook Education & Experience + Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience required + 7+ years Treasury experience required + 1+ years leadership experience required + CTP certification preferred For this position, Commerce Bank will review your motor vehicle driving record. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $131,500 to $157,000 annually. This position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
