Team Lead (3rd Assembly)

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Team Lead (3rd Assembly). The hourly rate for this position is $23.88 plus 5% shift differential per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

 

HOURS:   10:30PM - 6:30AM

What you’ll do:

Coordinate and prioritize daily activities to support area requirements. Facilitate all appropriate duties during the absence of the supervisor. Encourage productive and positive behavior among peers. Provide direction to employees regarding daily job assignments; Manage constraints/prioritize work activities and redirect as needed. Work to continuously to improve the work environment.

Improve work processes by problem-solving alongside the assembly teamMaintain cleanliness of work area using Eaton’s 5S proceduresEnsure assembly team members follows all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment and safe, efficient operation of equipmentEnsure visual boards are continuously maintainedLead daily Tier 1 meetings at the start of shiftReport daily team needs during Tier II meeting to supervisorCollaborate with other Team Leads - manning strategy Monitor Bell to Bell workAssist operations in quickly responding to business challenges, including changes, material shortages, and/or manpower challengesProvide training and production-related guidance to employees in their areaMotivate and encourage assembly team members, ensuring that they are continually made aware of all workplace goals surrounding production, safety, and qualityEnsure the next shift is setup to achieve their daily goals by coming in before the start of shift, or staying past shift end time, as neededCross-train new and current employees on all assembly lines Perform other duties, as assigned by supervisorQualifications:

Basic Qualifications: 

Must have a High School Diploma, or GED from an accredited institutionMinimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience Leadership Experience Prior work experience using a computer, including competence in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, and Excel)Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the futureNo relocation benefit is being offered for this position.  Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Cleveland, TN will be considered.  Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitationMust not be on a written or a final written warning (Internal Only)

Preferred Qualifications: 

Knowledge and/or experience leading projects, conducting analysis for root cause identification, and understanding how to identify problems and reach resolutionAssembly experience  Ability to read, understand, and effectively apply information contained in all applicable documents such as operating instructions and/or blueprints.2+ years of Leadership Experience in a manufacturing facilitySkills:
