Job Description
Team Lead to oversee the Onsite Agents at EWR Airport. The Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, managing the performance of Onsite Agents, and escalating system or operational issues to the support team.
●\tBe a point of contact for the Onsite Agents, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
●\tEnsure proper use of the vehicle scanning system and the accurate processing of condition reports.
●\tMonitor team performance and ensure adherence to scheduled meal and break times.
●\tProvide ongoing training and support to team members on customer interactions, the system, and vehicle inspection procedures.
●\tEscalate system-related issues to the support team and resolve operational challenges in a timely manner.
●\tOnboarding and training new Onsite Agents.
●\tCommunicate with team members via Slack and email, providing clear guidance and updates.
●\tAssist customers as needed with reviewing digital condition reports on iPads, ensuring a seamless experience.
●\tAddress customer inquiries or concerns and work with other agents to resolve any discrepancies or vehicle-related issues.
●\tEnsure compliance with safety and operational protocols at all times.
●\tMinimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a customer service or operations role.
●\tStrong technical aptitude, with proficiency in using email, Slack, and mobile devices (iPads).
●\tExcellent communication skills, with the ability to coach, train, and motivate team members.
●\tExperience handling escalations and resolving customer or operational issues.
●\tAbility to stand for long periods and perform vehicle inspections, including bending and lifting.
●\tProfessional demeanor with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Newark, New Jersey.
Work Environment
This role is based at EWR Airport and involves standing and working outdoors in a covered area for extended periods. Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required to ensure smooth operations across shifts.
