**Job Title: Team Lead**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Lead to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will provide first-line support on production lines, working closely with a team of 12 individuals. This role involves hands-on work, data input, and collaboration with management to achieve staffing and operational goals.
**Responsibilities**
+ Provide first-line support on production lines.
+ Work collaboratively with a team of 12 individuals.
+ Perform hands-on tasks as required.
+ Input data into computer systems accurately.
+ Collaborate with supervision and management on staffing, manning, and goal setting.
+ Cover breaks and absences of team members.
+ Report all issues to the supervisor promptly.
+ Train team leaders in supervisory skills to enhance leadership within the team.
+ Oversee the assembly process using Ingersoll Rand hand guns to build and assemble metal cages.
+ Operate robotic welders to create metal bases.
+ Stand on conveyor belts to screw in base plates and perform labeling tasks.
+ Perform final assembly and inspection of metal cages, ensuring quality and safety.
+ Remove caps and inspect plastic drums for contamination, ensuring proper alignment.
**Essential Skills**
+ Team leadership experience in training, management, supervision, team lead, or line lead roles.
+ Manufacturing experience, preferably in assembly.
+ Proficient computer skills, including data input into systems.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in assembly line operations.
+ Experience as an assembly team lead.

**Work Environment**
Our company manufactures plastic containers and blue drums for various industries, including medical and food sectors. We have a large national presence and are headquartered in Germany. Our manufacturing floor is clean but not climate-controlled. The role requires steel toe shoes, pants, and a t-shirt. The position follows a 2-2-3 schedule with shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM or 6 PM to 6 AM, and requires overseeing the MX/Light Assembly department.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Perrysburg, Ohio.
