Mailroom Team Leader must be able to strive in a fast-paced environment and will be a leader that strives to drive success. Mailroom Team Leader will make sure that materials are processed in a correct and timely manner while following all hazmat safety regulations.

Engages with employees with a positive attitude – a team player. Strong sense of time organization and urgency Ability to communicate at multiple levels, with superb written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail High competency in the use of Microsoft Office products Someone who enjoys creating order and takes pride in a “well-run shipping department”. Follows all processes established in the client standard operating procedures (SOP’s). Maintain records/logs of shipments as required to provide tracking and traceability. Capable of following specific government regulations when doing Hazmat shipping Perform other duties as assigned and/or requested by Mailroom Manager Keep work area orderly, clean, and safe

 Qualifications: 

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). At least 3 years of shipping experience. At least 1 year of management experience Preferred knowledge of Domestic and International shipping of Dangerous & Non-Dangerous Goods. Preferred certification in current Dangerous Goods shipping (49 CFR & IATA) Strong communication skills (oral and written).

 Physical Requirements: 

Walking and standing for extended periods of time. Typing on a keyboard. Must be able to lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs. Reaching, stooping, and bending. Must wear appropriate PPE (typically safety shoes, safety glasses and safety jacket) when required Apply Now
