Lead Responsibilities:  

Provide daily direction, assisting the team with technical questions.  Have a solid understanding of the cell, and the ripple effect of production decisions.  Resolve all issues directly related to the work, consulting with Managers only on unusual or complex problems.   Coordinate with other teams to ensure needs to the factory are met, resolving issues and securing resources.  Escalate all safety, quality, performance, and interpersonal issues to Managers in a timely and professional manner.  Assist management in making daily work assignments for team members and making adjustments as needed during the shift.  Track and enter KPI data for the team, helping identify when we’re winning.  Lead stand up meetings, communicating status updates and KPIs to the team.  Additional project work as needed. 

Basic Qualifications:  

Experience with the team’s products and processes, enabling you to act as a subject matter expert.  Commitment to continuous improvement, proactively making recommendations that address root cause  Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others, seeking and providing constructive feedback  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 

Preferred Qualifications:  

Previous Team Lead experience

Must be able to read, speak and understand English in order to understand oral or written safety information, supervisory direction, and other instructions.
