At CESO, a Team Lead is responsible for leading the building design effort from start to finish and manages the production of building construction documents in accordance with applicable codes and regulations. In addition, you will interact with clients and project managers to understand project needs and work as well as provide the first round of quality assurance. You will have primary responsibilities that include:Meet with Project Managers and clients to understand project goals, budgets and to assist in preparation of proposals. Solicit partner proposals for SMEP and coordinate their effortsLead and manage architectural projects from preparation of concepts and design development through complete construction documentation that includes specifications, materials, color, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and estimated costsPerform life-safety analysis and code reviews of existing and new builds to ensure design will comply with adopted codesPerform contract or construction administration associated with architectural services to include RFIs, shop drawing reviews, pay application reviews, construction observations and/or final SF verification surveysPerform field measurement and site visits as required to document existing conditions for renovation projectsLead the due diligence research and permit submission processCoordinate, communicate and track project milestones with clients, team members, jurisdictional authorities, contractors, etc. throughout projectsDevelop project schedules and coordinate production and initial quality control review of construction documentsFacilitate internal and external meetings including Planning and Zoning Board meetings and meetings with other Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) as neededUnderstand design time and cost parameters, project financial metrics (multiplier, earned value, etc.) and work with Project Managers to keep projects within budget and on timeReview operational procedures to ensure compliance with applicable policies and performance measuresPerform other project duties as assignedPosition RequirementsBachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience assisting with managing of projects in a design and construction related field; or in lieu of a degree, 10+ years of related experience and/or trainingArchitectural License preferredLEED Certification preferredProficient in AutoCAD and RevitKnowledge of Newforma and Microsoft Office SuiteBenefits and PerksFlexible and Hybrid Work SchedulePaid Time Off – Credited to You 100% UpfrontPaid HolidaysMedical / Dental / Vision Coverage including High Deductible Health PlanWelcome BoxRewards and Recognition Program401K with a Company MatchCasual Dress CodeReimbursement for Professional LicensesPaid Time Off for Community Team Service EventsShort-Term / Long-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Maternity / Paternity LeaveEmployee events such as lunches and outings to foster a positive work environmentCESO is a principle-centered organization that aligns with strong service values, integrity, and authenticity.
