Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Team Lead to oversee the assembly of medical devices and medical instrument sanitation washing centers. This role involves following detailed work instructions that can be up to 120 pages, ensuring high quality, and managing a team to meet production targets. Responsibilities include scanning parts before and after assembly and standing on your feet for an 8-hour shift.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble medical devices and sanitation washing centers.Follow detailed work instructions, which include up to 120 pages of pictures and directions.Ensure high-quality assembly at various small stations.Supervise team members, manage attendance, and provide training.Assist in meeting production numbers.Scan each part before entering and exiting the work area.Stand on feet for an 8-hour shift.Essential SkillsAssembly and manufacturing experience.Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and diagrams.Electrical and wiring experience.2+ years of team lead or supervisory experience.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with assembly and electrical components.Flexibility to take on new duties and responsibilities.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our facility is an extremely clean, 5S manufacturing environment where everything has a designated place. The production floor is a 'clean room' style environment requiring special shoe inserts to remove static charge. With over 50 people working on the floor, we emphasize labeling restricted areas and designated walkways. As a project-based company, we sometimes require extended hours to meet deadlines, and teamwork is crucial.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00
