Team Lead
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Team Lead in the non-profit industry based in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be primarily involved in the coordination and management of initiatives aimed at assisting families integrate into their chosen communities. Responsibilities: • Oversee the integration process of families into their chosen communities • Coordinate with relevant authorities to secure home grants through IHDA for the families • Facilitate the enrollment of children into schools • Provide Spanish translation services to assist families whose first language is Spanish • Conduct regular reviews of loan applications • Ensure accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date records of all families assisted • Act as a point of contact and provide necessary support for families housed in various city hotels • Collaborate with team members to ensure objectives are met efficiently. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in a leadership or supervisory role within the non-profit sector. • Proficient in Spanish translation, with the ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally in Spanish. • Proven experience in loan review, with a deep understanding of loan processing and financial principles. • Proficiency in data entry, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain high accuracy levels. • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team effectively and foster a positive working environment. • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure. • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is required. • Familiarity with the non-profit sector and a passion for community service. • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
