Team lead- Active Directory/IAM

GDIT is currently seeking a Team lead- Active Directory in Bethesda, Maryland to join our team. In this role you will be a change agent by supporting the National Institutes of Health to help ensure the success of the NIH mission.

Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:

Provide guidance to the Service Desk Services Team for account access tickets and service requests.Help to identify and provide solutions for any gaps in service.Develop and maintain access management knowledge records.Act as liaison between the NIH Service Desk and the IAM team to learn and communicate changes in service, new products, testing, etc.Implement and promote customer service best practices.Coordinate and balance scheduling for special projects.Continuous support of process development and improvement for the Service Desk Services team.Coordinates and collaborates with the NIH Service Desk, Desktop Support, IAM and Knowledge ManagementResolves advanced Active Directory and Account related incidents and requests, i.e. transfers, name changes, etc.Acts as Service Desk Point of Contact for Active Directory and Account related escalations. 

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate) required.5+ years of working knowledge of experience in managing AD and IAM systems.Strong knowledge of security standards and best practices.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and leadership abilities.Experience with AD, Azure AD, and IAM tools.

ServiceNow ITSMService Desk Experience (ITIL)ITIL CertificationCISSP Certification

Security Clearance Level:

Ability to obtain and maintain an NIH Public Trust clearance

Bethesda, MD (Position is onsite with potential for hybrid work schedule)
