Team Lead - AI/Data Engineering Platform (34-month contract) We are seeking an experienced Team Lead for our AI/Data Engineering Platform to oversee a dynamic team and drive innovative solutions. This role combines expertise in geospatial analysis, computer vision, and cloud technologies with strong leadership skills. Key Responsibilities: • Help transition the platform from Azure to AWS • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a collaborative and agile work environment • Work with Product Owner, Architecture, Cyber, and Change Management teams to execute in an agile space • Architect and implement scalable data pipelines for ingestion and transformation on AWS • Develop and optimize machine learning and deep learning models for geospatial and computer vision applications • Collaborate with data scientists to ensure efficient model delivery and execution • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development processes Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or 8 years of equivalent work experience • 3-4 years of additional work experience beyond degree requirements • Proficiency in geospatial and computer vision analysis, with deep knowledge of ML/DL algorithms • Strong data engineering skills, particularly on AWS • Expertise in SQL and experience with various programming languages • Understanding of secure AI architectural patterns • Experience with Agile methodologies Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in building and deploying ML/DL models across various domains (Classification, Regression, Time Series, NLP, Computer Vision) • Proficiency in Python and/or PySpark • Knowledge of Docker and MLOps practices • Familiarity with data ingestion from diverse sources (SQL Server, Oracle, Kafka, Hive) • Experience with ETL tools (Data Factory, Glue, Spark) This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead cutting-edge AI and data engineering initiatives, focusing on AWS cloud services.
