Team Lead - Genito Urinary Surgeons - Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting the department and staff in day-to-day operational activities within the practice. Facilitates a team effort, creates a team-like attitude and approach to practice functions and operations.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Works with manager in the development and implementation of department policies, systems and processes that promote quality, efficiency and patient satisfaction within the office.
2. Ability to communicate with Office Manager and/or Clinical Supervisor regarding staffing issues or employee concerns.
3. Communicating with staff regarding scheduling changes via email, text, or phone call.
4. Instruct patients both verbally and with written instructions regarding medications and treatment. Answer patient questions and follow up with patient as needed.
5. In conjunction with Manager, directs and oversees responsibilities and duties of department to assure productivity, efficiency, and service
6. Communicate directly with providers about their schedules, as well as any patient concerns that may need to be addressed.
7. Day-to-day customer service and clinical operational needs.
8. Maintains fair and equitable staff schedules, which include weekly schedules and late day rotations, while avoiding OT if possible.
9. Oversees training of new staff in their specific assignments, as well as ongoing training, educating and mentoring of other staff.
10. Maintain all room stock necessary to perform exams, as well as the expiration date of exam room medications and supplies. Request supplies to be ordered for patient care.
11. Bridging concerns to management from staff.
12. Supports clinical functions as able and directed by leadership.
13. All other duties as assigned.
Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills:
• Candidate must be proficient in written, verbal, and visual communications and exhibit exceptional customer service abilities.
• Must be able to type well, and be proficient and accurate in computer use, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint with basic graphic design skills.
• Requires excellent spelling, grammar and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and relate to a variety of individuals.
• Must maintain confidentiality on all business and clinical operations of the program.
• Must present in a professional manner, be creative, self-motivated, demonstrate excellent organizational skills, and be a team player.
• Demonstrates and promotes a strong commitment to achieving customer satisfaction.
Years of Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year applicable experience
Certification:
• Certification in field of work; RMA, CMA, COA, etc.
