Team Lead I

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Team Lead I.  The core hours are 7:00 pm to 7:30 am.  The hourly rate for this position is $24.00 per hour.

What you’ll do:

This position coordinates production activities for assigned areas including assurance that safe work practices are followed, acceptable quality levels are maintained, and optimum productivity levels are achieved. 

Maintains production control boards/Tier boards in areaRecommends work schedule for area, including overtime and staffing, estimates worker hour requirements, and adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules as instructed by supervisorEscalates all corrective actions to supervisorEnsures all work instructions are followed in assigned areasAssists supervisor in defining current associates level of training, cross training needs, training plans, maintaining a training matrix, and training employees in new operations and equipmentAnalyzes work orders and blueprints to determine information such as material to be used, type of operations, and sequence of operations required to machine parts to print specificationsExamines defective machinery to determine cause of malfunction and reports need for machine repairsInspects work in progress and finished productsRecommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product qualityAnalyzes and resolves work issues and assists co-workers in solving issuesAssists in production as neededPerforms other duties as assigned
 Qualifications:

BASIC (REQUIRED) QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorshipMust have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institutionMinimum of two years in manufacturing environmentThis position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
