What You Will Do:
• Monitors, directs and evaluates coding production on a daily basis. Ensures that daily schedules are met and communicates with US Operational Manager and Coding Operations if situations occur that hinder meeting deadlines. If system issues or other emergencies delay coding, implements measures/schedules to return to established coding schedules at the earliest possible time.
• Identifies day-to-day operational priorities and other work flow issues; adjusts coders, and other staff as necessary to ensure a constant flow of work so that delivery schedules are met, while respecting other parameters, such as login usage and quality/compliance considerations.
• Emphasizes productivity goals and takes action to ensure effective and efficient use of staff is maintained. Creatively plans for allocation of extra capacity for backlog coding.
• Tracks performance to ensure that staff is performing in alignment with the expectations of our clients.
• Responds to and ensures that the acknowledgement mail on daily updates is sent to US. Ensures client mails are promptly responded to.
• Codes actively alongside their team to stay abreast of all coding guidelines and processes.
• Helps to coordinate and follow through on the training plans for adding new trainees onto an account.
• Guideline updates – Co-ordinate with the QA staff to ensure that the update is understood by the coders.
• Shall understand and abide by the organizations’ information security policy and protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all information assets.
• Shall report incidents related to security of information to concerned authorities.

What You Will Need:
Any Life science, Paramedical Graduates and Post Graduates
Minimum Experience: 3-5 year experience.
Basic Skill set:
• Good analytic skills and expertise to be proficient in accurately coding medical records utilizing ICD-9-CM and CPT conventions especially emergency room coding. CPC Certified.
• Strong ability to interpret medical records of the patients in different specialties.
• Ability to communicate, have excellent interpersonal, listening skills and organizational skills.
• Can work in toughest of conditions, able to handle diverse clients.
• Able to work under pressure and deliver expected daily productivity targets.
• Ability to work with speed and accuracy.
