Responsibilities

The Team Lead Junior will provide oral and written briefing support to the 24/7 Watch. All duties and responsibilities performed in accordance with the Core Values of Cayuse.

Support Watch operations during assigned shift and will work closely with the Senior Duty Officer and CISA Duty Officer. Research, analyze, and compose, edit and review watch and warning related products. Perform initial triage of information on questions, issues, or events involving the nation's physical Critical Infrastructure. Manage and distribute the workload among team members to ensure that the required reporting times are met, maintain quality control and ensure emails and reports are grammatically correct and the content accurate. Provide operational guidance to a team of Watch Analysts in alignment with the vision of leadership. Maintain knowledge of National Incident Management System (NIMS) structure, emergency management operations, and critical infrastructure sectors. Synthesize, synopsize, and present information at an executive level.Ability to manage operational teams in dispersed locations during high-tempo mission critical operations.Briefs when an SDO for any given domain is not present.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline such as Homeland Security or Business, or a combination of education, technical training and equivalent experienceAdditional (2) two years of experience may be substituted with an associate’s degreeMinimum of two (2) years of related experience with at least one (1) year of specialized operations center experienceActive TOP SECRET/SCI Clearance and DHS FitnessMust be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment

Minimum Skills:

Knowledge of National Incident Management System (NIMS) structure, emergency management operations, and background knowledge of one (1) or more critical infrastructure sectorsCapable of synthesizing, synopsizing, and presenting information at an executive levelDemonstrate expertise in research, analysis, and technical writing skills and be able to perform triage on questions, issues, or events involving the nation’s critical infrastructures and key resourcesExperience in managing operational teams in dispersed locations during high-tempo mission critical operations. High proficiency in Microsoft Office; including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and other general software applicationsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within an organization and externally in a professional, articulate manner
