Team Lead Medical Receptionist

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Team Lead Medical Receptionist to join our Primary Care Frontline Team!  Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.  

Position Summary:

Provides support to the department/site ensuring quality service through timely and courteous assistance.  Provides service support to patients who request our care. Lead the Frontline and/or Call Center daily operations by matching staffing needs to the phone processes and measures tied to operational service goals.  Functions as a part of an organizational Frontline and/or Call Center Team to assure continual quality improvements are in place to meet service goals.  Responsible for assisting staff with daily operations and developmental learning/training.  Assist supervisor and or manager with gathering performance feedback and performance measures.

Additional Information: 

We are a group of healthcare workers who are passionate about helping patients and their families with improving their health. With a team of 14 clinicians, we see approximately 125 patients (ages 0-100+) a day. Our clinicians consider our front desk team members as colleagues and really partner with staff to take great care of our patients. Collaborating with all members of the team is how we have continued to have excellent patient experience results and maintain high quality patient measures. Our campus includes free parking in a parking lot. There are lots of great restaurants and shops to walk to during your break and we are only 0.5 miles from the beautiful lake Minnetonka. Our team is friendly, engaged, and we love to have fun!

Our primary care department provides a wide range of services from yearly physicals, Medicare wellness visits, pre-ops, general office visit, video, and phone visit, in clinic procedures, nurse visits and vaccine clinics.

Clinic hours 

Our clinic is open to serve patients 7:30am - 6pm M-Tu and 7:30am - 5pm on Wednesday-Friday. 

Work Schedule: M-F, clinic hours 

Required Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Computer skills  Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.  Must be proficient in the operation of the following types telephone and headsets, PC, printer, photo copier and fax machine

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years of patient scheduling experience Frontline and/or Call Center experience Previous leadership experience
