Team Lead (Medical Respite)

​ABOUT THE ROLE

The Team Lead works closely with the Supervisor to maximize productivity, compliance, quality, financial performance and individuals served in our Medical Respite program. The Team Lead will be responsible for leading and understanding harm reduction; housing first model; best practices in Respite Care and maintaining continuity of care of individuals served. You will also provide direct services to persons served, including shift coverage as needed.

We're looking for someone who has experience mentoring a team using positive practices and a strengths-based approach, to guide everyday activities. Your dependability, integrity, empathy for others (both persons served and your colleagues), and a dedication to teamwork are essential to this position. The ideal candidate will keep our team coordinated, organized, and energized.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor Workflow and Productivity of the staff assigned.

Train staff on all appropriate requirements to meet assigned benchmarks for program. Train new staff on tools and process documentation to ensure accurate and timely data reporting

Understand the demand of the individuals served.

Work with supervisor to add (or decrease) services based on program capacity.

Engage System Partners and leadership to propose solutions to address issues with individuals served.

Up to 50% of your time may be spent providing services to individuals at Bethlehem Haven as staffing needs arise.

Use of Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, computer programs

REQUIREMENTS

Master's in Human Services, Social Work or Public Health related fields, and 2 years of related experience OR Bachelor's in Human Services, Social work or Public Health related field and 4 years of related experience.

Preemployment screenings required

Must be physically able to walk steps

Must be able to lift boxes up to 40 pounds

SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Must be able to work flexible hours when necessary.
