Visit cat.com to learn more about Cat Financial. Role Definition + This position serves as the Team Lead or Delivery Lead for the Insurance Application Product Delivery team. In this role, the candidate will manage a complex and diverse group of Business Analysts, Developers, and vendor partners in a fast-paced environment. + The Product Delivery Lead will be responsible for managing one or more agile projects to deliver the product via a multi-disciplinary, highly skilled digital team. This role will help make decisions that build high-performing teams where people are excited about the work they undertake. Responsibilities + Timely and quality delivery of software products. Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment processes. Facilitate day-to-day coordination of work and removal of impediments while adhering to internal work standards. + Planning and managing multiple product releases. + Deliver products using the appropriate agile project management methodology and lean tools and techniques, learning & iterating frequently. Champions the agile process for the team and helps educate the team in Scrum, XP, Kanban, and SAFe. Ensures Agile processes are being followed. + Work with the Product Manager and Product Owner to define the roadmap for any given product and translate this into user stories. Value and metric driven prioritization. + Lead the collaborative, dynamic planning process – prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team. Remove obstacles and blockers. + Matrix-managing a multidisciplinary team. Lead multidisciplinary team whose is concerned with enabling the team to deliver value. Helping the team self-organize and fostering a culture of learning and transparency. A good delivery lead knows that a happy team will produce the most amazing work, they are skilled at building trust, managing team dynamics and motivating people. + Ensure all products are built to an appropriate level of quality for the stage (alpha/beta/production). + Actively sharing and re-applying skills and knowledge and bringing in best practice. + Working with IS Manager to ensure spending costs and resources operate within agreed budgets. + Perform product audits to maintain focus on value stream mapping, technical debt, and Cyber Security. + Ensures transparency of dependencies, risks, and priorities. Communicates effectively with IS Manager and other leadership stakeholders. Responsible for tracking work status and managing issues and risks within the team. Consideration for Top Candidates: + Proven technical experience in delivering Software products and projects. + Experience being a SCRUM master or prior product delivery experience using agile. + Experience in coming up with statistics on development and delivery performance. + Must be involved in continuous delivery methods. + Proven experience using a range of agile project management methods. + Proven experience in balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity. + Understanding of the digital landscape. + Experience in matrix-managing multi-disciplinary teams. + Expertise in handling multiple enterprise software releases.
