Team lead Supply Chain Financial Planning Analysis (FPA)Location: Cork, IrelandFixed-term contract for 18 months

DePuy Synthes, a USD $9 billion franchise within Johnson Johnson , is a market-leader in the orthopaedic implants industry. DePuy Ireland contains the Orthopaedic Global Supply Chain function as well as a large manufacturing site in Ireland and has financial responsibility for intercompany sales of over $1.5 billion. It also has responsibility for a number of toll and contract manufacturing sites in Europe and the Far East.

DePuy Synthes Supply Chain (DPS SC), a member of the Johnson Johnson Family of Companies, has an exciting opportunity for a Team Lead in the Global DePuy Synthes FPA team. This role operates in a dynamic global environment, and will be located in Cork, Ireland.

The Supply Chain FPA team plays a lead role in performance management within the MedTech supply chain organization. This Team Lead, supports a team that is responsible for the Irish and UK entities and delivers quarterly actual submissions in BRAVO and TM1, presents BVA analysis, leads business plan submissions, leads Tax and Audit support and provides budget control

This role reports to the Finance Manager – FPA.

Core Responsibilities:

Financial / Tax Reporting

Lead compliant delivery of JJ quarterly results, (BRAVO, TM1) together with country specific statutory, tax and legal entity reporting for the Irish and UK entities

Review RD tax credit and grant submissions, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant submissions are filed to secure the refunds from the relevant external parties.

Partner with Tax and Statutory Accounting teams as well as PWC in preparation, review and approval of local statutory accounts and LR tax submissions.

Audit Support

Key audit partner, working closely with both internal and external audit to maintain an excellent compliance record

FPA – Forecasting and Business Partnering

Partner with the business on Business Plan and Business Plan update cycles to compliantly report Headcount, Pillar spend/CNIS, GP bridges, OIE and Admin cost, Cashflow, full PL scorecards.

Work closely with global DPS FPA consolidation teams to provide robust intelligence in relation to forecast and actual results

Drive process improvements across all the teams and partner with other finance leaders in the FPA team to focus on harmonization and standardisation

Provide pillar support to local business partners, assisting them to understand targets, build budgets and analyse progress vs actuals on an ongoing basis

SigniFi - Project Support

Support data mapping and validation exercises

Support mock close testing activities for DePuy Ireland

Support upload of forecast data onto the new Anaplan system

Team Management

Support, lead, motivate and develop a staff of finance professionals

Oversee performance and development of staff against departmental objectives.

Build strong culture of collaboration and teamwork across the team

Recruit and retain key talent; develop the diversity of finance staff.

University/Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting

Professional Accounting qualification, ACCA preferred

Minimum 7 years of relevant finance experience in multinational industry with a focus on reporting, budgeting, tax and compliance in a global matrix environment

3 years of people management experience

Experience with ERP systems, preferably JDE

Experience executing a systems implementation project

Strong financial and accounting foundations, compliance mindset, business acumen

Ability to bring clarity to complex business issues

Proven track record influencing and leading people and interacting with senior level management.

Process-oriented individual

Excellent written and oral communication skills
