Minimum Qualifications  

3 years of compensation experience Leadership and administration experience 

 

Preferred Qualifications  

5 years of compensation experience Bachelor's degree and/or certification in a related field 

 

Job Summary 

As the Team Leader of Compensation, you'll lead team members in your respective business unit. 

 

Responsibilities 

Lead with the company, business area and team vision top of mind Apply compensation best practices (e.g., compensation and job evaluation, market pricing/competitive positioning, salary structure maintenance, compensation design cycle management, compensation analytics, salary survey participation, management of compensation spend relative to company performance, etc.)  Understand compensation technologies to define requirements, train team members and identify/correct issues (technologies to include Workday, IBM Incentive Compensation Management and Payfactors) Demonstrate proficiency in company leadership expectations, such as the Ante to Lead Champion and model the highest standards of ethical conduct and decision-making for team members  Rely on data to make decisions using logic and reason Understand and provide feedback to team members on their learning and development opportunities at least quarterly Appropriately recognize team members for work done well Collaborate closely with other leaders on the team and within the business by approaching questions/concerns in a positive fashion and seeking to help business teams meet their objectives Be curious and ask questions to get to the root cause instead of the surface level Host meetings for an individual team and/or their business area in an engaging and informative manner Ensure successful and timely achievement of team goals through planning, prioritization and execution Focus on making improvements to team opportunities, including communication, accuracy, speed of work produced and Outlet Survey results Complete company-sponsored training as required (e.g., Leader Launch, Art of Inclusion, Inside Out, etc.) Complete and deliver annual performance and compensation reviews for team members
