This is a full time position that will work rotating shifts week to week, including rotating weekend and holiday shifts. Prior supervisory experience in food service is strongly preferred! Responsibilities: + Supervise Team: Oversee hourly associates, ensuring they adhere to all UPMC policies, procedures, and department standards. + Inventory & Cash Security: Maintain the security of inventory and cash revenues. + Training & Development: Orient, train, and coach new team members according to department guidelines. + Food Safety: Routinely monitor the department's food safety program and take immediate action on identified hazards. + Service Supervision: Ensure services meet department standards and perform quality control and assurance checks to comply with regulatory agencies. + Performance Checks: Conduct routine competency checks on associate performance with appropriate follow-through. + Customer Service: Handle and document service recovery for all customer complaints as per operational guidelines. + Food Quality: Monitor food quantity and quality to ensure the appropriate product is available for meal service according to the menu and special requests. + Sanitation: Oversee all aspects of the operation's sanitation program daily to ensure inspection readiness at all times.
