UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is currently hiring a Team Leader, Food Services for our Starbucks location. The Team Leader supports the Starbucks Manager in all aspects of daily operations, with emphasis on the training and development of baristas. Responsibilities: + Supervise hourly associates and their adherence to all UPMC policies and procedures and department standards and guidelines. + Oversee security of inventory and cash revenues. + Orient, train, and coach new team members as per department guidelines. + Monitor all aspects of the department's food safety program routinely and take immediate and appropriate action to identified hazards. + Supervise services according to department standards and complete quality control and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. + Perform routine competency checks on associate performance with appropriate follow-through. + Conduct and document service recovery on all customer complaints as per operational guidelines. + Monitor food quantity and quality to ensure appropriate product is available for meal service according to menu and special requests. + Monitor all aspects of the operation's sanitation program on a daily basis to ensure inspection readiness at all times. + High School Diploma or GED preferred + 2 years of relevant experience required Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: + Obtain Servsafe or Professional Food Safety Manager Certification within 6 months of hire date. + Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal + Act 33 with renewal + Act 34 with renewal + Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal _UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran_
