What success looks like in this role:

We are seeking a Team Leader – Global Field Operations to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee and provide operational support to the Field Engineering teams, ensuring a smooth and efficient service delivery to our clients. You will play a key role in managing schedules, resolving issues, and ensuring standardized processes across operations, while maintaining high-quality customer service. This position also involves overseeing inventory management, assisting in training, and fostering collaboration across departments to ensure continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and provide focused operational support to Field Engineering teams, ensuring the smooth execution of service appointments and efficient customer communication.Coordinate service appointments and act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely updates and addressing any questions or concerns.Maintain the Unisys Dispatch Field Force Management system, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.Monitor Global Field Operations documentation to identify trends, resolve ongoing issues, and report findings to leadership with recommendations for improvements.Oversee the administrative tasks related to Field Services teams, including organizing paperwork, ensuring SLAs are met, and managing service appointments effectively.Ensure end-to-end SLA management for assigned accounts, coordinating with the teams to ensure timely service delivery.Coordinate inventory management and assist in sourcing parts and supplies needed for service appointments.Serve as the point of contact for internal departments, clients, and external third parties, ensuring smooth coordination across all stakeholders.Resolve issues that arise during service appointments, collaborating with team members or departments as necessary to ensure quick resolution.Adjust and refine schedules to ensure efficient operations and optimal use of resources.Collaborate with teams from Sales, Sales Excellence, Client Services, and Support to enhance the customer experience and resolve any potential issues.Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members, assisting in their development and improving team performance.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or Associate’s degree preferred.2-4 years of experience in a relevant operational support or leadership role, ideally in Global Field Operations or a similar field.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Fluency in English is required. Additional languages such as German, French, or Italian are an advantage.Proficiency in managing service appointments, SLAs, and inventory, with a keen focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.Ability to resolve complex issues, demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, and ensure smooth operational workflows.
