To stimulate its further growth, Willis Towers Watson Belgium is looking for a talented Team Leader Middle Market & Affinities and Major and International Accounts (m/f) for its CRB (Corporate Risk & Broking) activities.
Reporting to the Head of Operations.
What will your job entail?
As a Team leader MMA & MIA within our Operations Team, you will be responsible for managing and coaching the MMA & MIA department. You will be setting goals for the team members, providing feedback and fostering a positive environment.
There is a close collaboration with the other Teams in Operations as well as with the Broking and the Sales Team. You will lead cross-functional projects and ensure effective communication between departments.
Your key responsibilities involve:
Focus on development, mentorship, and team management: Ensure all team members maintain and improve their knowledge, relationships with insurers, insureds, and other stakeholders. Support junior staff, share knowledge, and provide mentorship for their professional growth. Foster a positive team culture, ensure the right person is in the right place, and offer career development opportunities, permanent education, and succession planning; Client service and relationship management: Provide day-to-day excellent client service, build strong client relationships, and ensure rigorous follow-up of files. Support client development, retention, and visits, while maintaining strong relationships with various contacts within insurance companies; Technical and operational excellence: Continuously develop and maintain technical knowledge, with a multi-branch view on markets, wordings, rating levels, and claims issues. Implement changes to improve operational and financial efficiency, and embed compliance requirements in daily processes; People and performance management: Manage performance across three offices in Belgium, ensuring team cohesion and driving continuous improvement. We are looking for an individual with excellent people management skills, who is both analytical and organised, as well as creative and comfortable working independently.
The successful applicant will have/be:
At least a Bachelor’s degree and preferably 10 years’ experience in the insurance industry are recommended – experience in people management/change management is a plus;You have an open mind towards change and see the possibility of working temporarily in our other offices in Liège and Hasselt as an opportunity. You are an excellent negotiator, proactive, and eager to satisfy the client.Strong relationship-building skills with a dedication to quality and customer service. Enthusiastic, persistent, and driven to succeed.Attention to detail and quality, with a 'right first time' mentality. Entrepreneurial skills to develop innovation and ideas.Native in Dutch or French, with a very good command of Dutch/French and English (both written and spoken).What we offer
