Team Leader - Content Acquisition Relationship Manager - Research

Our Team: 
CA (Content Acquisition) team is an integral part of Bloomberg Data. Our team is at the forefront of acquiring cutting edge data from brokers, exchanges, banks and other content partners that powers the Bloomberg terminal & its downstream enterprise offerings. We are responsible for end to end relationship management with our valued content partners and collaborate internally to align with the strategy that fuels our overall business. 
Within CA, the Research team manages the research & estimates product, spanning multiple asset classes that forms a critical part of the market participants day to day investment decision making process. Bloomberg research product is the industry leading benchmark offering that powers Bloomberg users with access to research and estimates content enabling them to take timely & data backed decisions. We holistically manage the content partner relationships allowing them to distribute their content to the right set of clients ensuring content visibility and usage.

The Role:We are seeking an entrepreneurial leader to join our London office as a Research Relationship Manager Team Leader, overseeing the EMEA region. In this role, you will primarily manage sell-side relationship managers while also driving data content strategies. Your ultimate goal will be to successfully acquire and manage research and estimates content sets. Additionally, you will be responsible for crafting strategies to oversee contributed content coverage in your region, ensuring alignment with the core product and overall business objectives. 

We'll Trust You To:
Recruit, coach and develop a team of Relationship Managers who will be managing our most important Research Content PartnersSupport your team in engagement with the content partners to drive their decision making to onboard and help maintain research, estimates, models & deep data sets. Support the team to secure their commitment and negotiate favorable terms on content distribution, usage and costSet strategies around existing and potential content partners to drive distributing content on Bloomberg, along with driving strategies and campaigns around consumption trendsHelp your team execute an effective distribution strategy to ensure contents transparency and usage with an end goal of driving client engagementCollaborate with product, data and technical teams internally to help ensure the content is distributed leveraging the most effective technology, thereby providing maximum leverage to content partners distribution effortsHave your eyes on the region and working closely with Bloomberg internal stakeholders in core product & sales. Improve internal understanding of market dynamics, spot regional trends and identify coverage gaps to help frame a seamless research content acquisition, consumption and management strategy

You'll Need To Have:
3+ years of proven leadership experienceDemonstrated experience of managing and growing senior stakeholder relationships & C-suite engagement, to support long lasting relationships and client engagementA proven understanding of financial markets and interaction dynamics of various market participant types within the investment communityExperience implementing your vision to align team goals Strong understanding of full cycle fundamental workflow and how research fits within the ecosystem: right from idea generation stage to research production, distribution and consumption Demonstrated ability to build and complete plans under tight deadlines through partnership with external and internal stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal English communication + presentation skillsWillingness to travel within the region
