Team Leader - Insurance Operations

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Calgary, Canada. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This Team Leader role in Insurance Operations is a seasoned leader who guides an experienced support team, making sure they are productive and meeting objectives, and helping them to resolve the more difficult issues they face.

We will count on you to:

Insurance Operations is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the company’s insurance solutions. We provide administrative and technical support to client-facing brokers, and provide support to clients by responding to insurance transaction queries.

This role in Insurance Operations is a seasoned leader who guides an experienced support team, making sure they are productive and meeting objectives, and helping them to resolve the more difficult issues they face.

Sustaining productive relationships with business partners will promote seamless operating and a good client engagement.

This Team Leader will also be part of driving a continuous improvement agenda, for service quality and productivity.

What you need to have:

3+  years of leadership managing a team and insurance or financial services experience

Microsoft Office proficiency. Knowledge of basic Excel formulas, pivot tables, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Good organization and time management skills to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.

Managerial aptitude -   the desire to coach, mentor, change management, and develop the team you are supervising to achieve target results

Bachelor’s Degree

Experience in Commercial Lines Insurance

Bilingualism ( English & French ) – verbal and written
