Team Leader Quality Control

With a focus on guiding a team of highly skilled Quality Controllers, this role provides strong technical leadership while ensuring workloads are effectively managed and balanced for optimal performance. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Team Management: Communicate objectives, manage daily/weekly updates, and ensure adherence to quality and safety rules. Operational Coordination: Lead team scheduling, task assignments, and effective work time management. Inspections: Perform incoming, procedural, and final product inspections using tools like CMM and 3D scanners. Team Development: Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, evaluations, and HR administrative tasks. Non-Conformance Handling: Report, track, and draft internal/external non-conformance reports. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and propose solutions to improve control processes. Calibration Oversight: Monitor measuring instruments to ensure compliance and reliability. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with departments to resolve issues and drive efficiency.

You assume responsibility for the outcomes of others, enforcing individual accountability in the team and partnering with colleagues to get work done by actively listening, checking for understanding, and anticipating customer needs to provide services beyond expectations. 

You have the ability to train, delegate, and provide constructive feedback, gaining the confidence and trust of others easily.

 

 

For This Role, You Will Need:

 

Technical diploma with strong mechanical competence. Experience managing teams in quality control. Proficiency in reading design plans and analyzing 3D volumes. Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, ERP). Fluency in French is essential; proficiency in additional languages, particularly English, is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Experience with handling equipment (stackers, cranes). Ability to thrive in a matrix organization and collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams.
