Position Purpose:
This position accepts the responsibility and accountability for the delivery of patient care during the patients stay, using the nursing process. The Team Leader uses the principles of servant leadership to achieve results for the organization by attending to the needs of those they serve. They are a resource for their nurse team members and assist them with critical thinking, problem solving, removing barriers, training and auditing processes.
What you will Do:
Regularly rounds on patients and team members focusing on safety, quality, patient experience and employee satisfaction.
Promotes efficient patient flow including timely discharges and admissions.
Responds and provides direction during crisis and emergency situations.
Support RN's with physician rounding. Fills in as Charge Nurse when needed
Hours/Schedule:
12-hour shift days, 36 hours - full time.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of a program in professional nursing required. BSN Preferred. Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa.
