We are looking for a Team Leader Warehouse whose main responsibility is leading a team of warehouse handlers and optimizing work processes. The location for this position is in Hattem, Netherlands, it is required to be onsite.
What you will do:
Support employees and identify, prevent or solve problems in a timely manner
Hold performance meetings and reviews
Stimulate and maximize staff flexibility & agility as well as personal development
Stimulate employees to follow required courses and trainings
Initiate/Managing on the hiring and dismissal of employees
Ensure the Team personnel are qualified to perform their tasks excellently
Propose improvement plans for the warehouse department
Lead the day-to-day activities of the team and monitor the team’s performance in accordance to the agreed KPI’s
Collects and analyses information for product and process improvement.
Orients to possibilities for improving the work processes (technological changes/approach)
Translates this to his own organization and advises the manager about it.
Guides pilots and keeps track of lessons learned
Organises staffing capacity and order flows
Safeguards the quality and quantity of tasks performed by Warehousing.
Ensure timely handling of order flow. Priority setting
Reports progress and status of activities to involved parties
Communicates tactical plans into operational instructions and monitors progress
Suggests lay-out and process improvements.
Ensures correct performing of warehouse tasks at all warehouse departments
Identifies technical deviations in orders and ensures proper solution and follow up
Monitors changes in SAP
Ensures compliance with the SAP process. Corrects and reports deviations as necessary.
Complies with the safety regulations, as included in the QESH manual (particularly OHSAS18001)
Ensures proper use of personal protective equipment.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A BSc in Logistics or related field (preferred).
Experience in Supply Chain and Logistics.
Experience managing a capacity plan, and knowing the limitations
Awareness of customer needs and the competition and market position.
Experience with operation, handling and safety regulations associated with forklift, reach truck and lifting and packaging machines
Experience in dispatch procedures
Experience in managing and leading people
