Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Systems:

Maintain, repair, and operate electrical systems, including generators, switchboards, and distribution panels.Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing electrical components.Troubleshoot electrical faults and take corrective action.

 Electronic Systems:

Maintain, repair, and operate electronic systems, including navigation, communication, and automation systems.Perform software updates and configuration changes as required.Troubleshoot electronic faults and take corrective action.

 Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, such as SOLAS and ISM.Participate in safety drills and training exercises.Report any safety concerns or incidents to the Chief Engineer/Technical Superintendent.

 Documentation and Record-Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.Update technical documentation, such as manuals and schematics.Prepare and submit reports as required.

 Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with other crew members, including engineers, officers, and ratings.Communicate effectively with shore-based personnel, including technical superintendents and maintenance personnel.

System / Software Usage:

To create Purchase & service requisitions in SAP.
Processing of invoices (Material / Services) in SAPPrepare and Maintain MIS in MS Excel

Educational Qualification:
•    B.E. / B.Tech. (Electrical / Electrical & Electronics) / Electro Technical Officer (ETO)
