This role is critical for us to succeed as an approachable, luxury destination offering best-in-class hospitality and exciting amenities for all. In addition to helping us get work done, as a manager at Station Casinos, you are expected to support, develop, and inspire the people you are responsible for because we believe in a people-first approach.
If you are willing to take on this responsibility, then check out what you will be doing. Your role requires several outcomes or goals to be met. You are expected to meet the following financial, guest, and employee KPIs that are essential to our success.
Responsibilities include managing the TM Relations function and providing front-line interface with Team Members and/or leaders in interpreting and ensuring consistent policy application, responding to questions and complaints, mediating conflicts, and coaching and counseling to improve relationships and performance. Completing investigations and resolving of all TM relations issues, and spending a large amount of time on the floor promoting the Open Door Policy and providing one on one contact with Team Members. Assist with preparing management’s and Team Members’ cases and scheduling Team Member Council Hearings. Interview and thoroughly investigate all issues of dispute, mediate resolutions and thoroughly document all aspects of each case for the file, and maintain a TM Relations Log. Assist managers with screening external and internal job candidates and in the development of scheduling/manpower planning strategies. Assist in assessing training and development needs, and co-facilitate some training sessions with Training Manager. Respond to all unemployment claims and hearings.
As a manager you are also expected to be there for your team, enable and empower them to perform, own your operation or shift, and build caring and trusting relationships with your people. You must also engage and communicate with your team, elevate performance through coaching, develop your talent, and champion collaboration within your team and across the business.

In a perfect world, we would also like you to come with:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum of three years HR generalist experience including, extensive employee relations responsibilities. Prior work in management capacity highly desired. Must be 21 and able to obtain all necessary work cards. Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.So, what do you think? Is this you? Then what are you waiting for?
