What You’ll Be Doing   

The Manufacturing and Quality Tech@Lilly (IT) organization is on a multi-year journey to implement the Next Generation Manufacturing Execution System (NG MES) for drug product sites across the world. This project has high visibility within the organization and directly impact making medicine for our patients.

As a Next Generation MES Technical Integrator you will be part of Next Generation MES Core team and you will:

contribute to the NG MES architecture implementation and testing;support the delivery of NG MES solution and architecture to the drug product manufacturing sites in scope of the NG MES program;manage architecture life cycle and security management for the core system, third party components and related infrastructure.

How You’ll Succeed   

You will support the NG MES Architect, by investigating analyzing and testing components of NG MES architecture;You will assist the NG MES team by ensuring environments needed at global and local level are installed according to the procedures and the program timeline;You will ensure NG MES system, its interfaces and the related architecture are kept aligned with current security standards by executing Cybersecurity related tasks (e.g. patching and LCM activities);You will identify solutions to complex technical, architectural, integration and performance problems;You will keep outside focus to identify new trends and opportunities, to contribute to the NG MES roadmap in cooperation with the NG MES Architect;You will act as coach/mentor of global and local MES team members and others on Next Gen MES technologies.

What You Should Bring  

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues;Understanding of GMP requirements and experience delivering within those requirements and constraints;Good interpersonal and self-management skills;Good oral and written communication skills, with ability of transition between business and technical discussions;Broad learning agility;Ability to lead/manage small/medium activities in an autonomous way.Additional Experience in the following would be preferred but not required:  Knowledge of Computer System Validation process;Experience with distributed S95 Level 3 solutions, commercial configurable software (COTS);Knowledge of a MES (e.g. Rockwell Pharmasuite, PMX, Emerson Syncade), its configuration, its architecture, its integration with other solutions, and how it is used to support the business processes;Container experience/knowledge.

Your Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;2+ years technical experience in delivery of IT solutions (MES experience preferred);Solid experience in Microsoft eco system administration including domain integration and security.

Full time day shift position;Position must be in IndianapolisFluent English written and spokenAs this position will contribute to NG MES Program implementation, occasional off hours and weekend work is expected;Some (10-15%) domestic and/or international travel will be required.
